Learn about real life needs that DirectBids has solved for our clients.
In 2022 UT Southwest began the decomissioning of 3 towers on their campus. DirectBids worked directly with the facilities and project management on the liquidation of building assets and fixtures.
CHRISTUS Health and other organizations have been utilizing DirectBids Liquidation services as an alternative to OEM buy back programs. This accomplishes two major benefits:
- Regularly greater values than offered by OEMs
- Financial freedom in purchasing new equipment
The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio had determined that their industrial chilling system was in need of replacement. The facility department was quoted $300,000 for the deinstallation and removal of their current chilling system. Rather than moving forward with the quoted demolition, the facility team opted to utilize DirectBids' asset liquidation services. DirectBids was able to secure the purchase and removal of the old chilling system by a private buyer. Instead of paying $300k to a demolition vendor, the organization was able to be paid $176k for the removal idle assets.
“The professionalism and knowledge of the staff is amazing. Our last auction netted the University $176k on items that would have been very costly to demo.”
